ON YOUR BIKE

On Your Bike is a registered charity based at two locations in Taunton. Our aim is to train and support the socially underprivileged, ex-servicemen and long term unemployed by offering them voluntary work placements. Volunteers work in our fully equipped workshops with support and supervision to refurbish unwanted bicycles. Through on the job training volunteers gain employability skills and confidence. It’s not just about being a bike mechanic though: we have volunteers who support us with administration, finance and web building tasks. Most of our volunteers gain confidence through serving customers both face to face and on the phone.
On Your Bike has recycled or serviced over 3,000 bikes and helped over 50 individuals. We have hundreds of bikes for sale, a wide range of used parts and a selection of new bikes, parts, tools and accessories. We offer servicing on all makes and models of bike, overseen by one of our Industry Standard Cytech II qualified mechanics. On Your Bike is committed to providing a comprehensive service to local cyclists. If you’re looking for a new bike or in need of servicing or minor repairs please give us a call or just drop into our workshop.
